Work will disrupt Wharfedale line rail service

Engineering work will disrupt train services on the Wharfedale Line this Sunday and on Sunday, January 13.
The West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive is advising passengers to check train times while the work takes place.
Buses will replace trains between Leeds and Guiseley all day this Sunday, and replacement bus services will also be in operation between Leeds and Shipley and between Leeds and Bradford Forster Square.
Overall journey times between stations on the Wharfedale Line and Leeds are expected to be extended.
Trains between Leeds and Morecambe or Carlisle will run from Bradford Forster Square. Leeds passengers should connect with these trains at Shipley.
Further engineering work will take place next weekend.
Buses will again replace trains between Leeds and Guiseley on Sunday, January 13. A planned third round of engineering work on January 20, has been cancelled.
