Wharfedale line train travellers warned of disruption

Engineering work will disrupt train services on the Wharfedale line this Sunday and on January 13.
West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive, Metro, is advising passengers to check train times this weekend and next, as the work takes place.
Buses will replace trains between Leeds and Guiseley all day this Sunday, and replacement bus services will be in operation between Leeds and Shipley and between Leeds and Bradford Forster Square.
Overall journey times between stations on the Wharfedale line and Leeds are expected to be extended.
Trains between Leeds and Morecambe or Carlisle will run between Bradford Forster Square and these destinations. Leeds passengers should connect with these trains at Shipley.
Buses will again be brought in to replace trains between Leeds and Guiseley on Sunday ,January 13.
