British Airways were given a true Yorkshire welcome during their Santa road show.

The airline sales team delivered Christmas cheer to Yorkshire by giving out gifts to travel agents in various towns and cities.

Led by Richard Tams, head of UK and Ireland sales and marketing for the airline, teams of festive helpers from the regional sales force delivered the items which included British Airways branded goods and specially commissioned cupcakes. The initiative was to celebrate the start of new four-times-a-day flights from Leeds-Bradford Airport to Heathrow which have opened up opportunities for connections to British Airways’ European and long-haul destinations.

They were joined on the seasonal sales blitz by a team of Santa’s helpers from Leeds-Bradford Airport.

British Airways’ Richard Tams said: “It was so good to actually get out and meet people and to hear all the positive things they had to say about British Airways starting flights from Leeds-Bradford again. They gave us a true Yorkshire welcome.”
