Police are appealing for help to trace a man who is wanted on prison recall.

Jonathan Bennett, 20, whose last- known address was in Regent’s Court, Horsforth, was jailed for two years and eight months in 2010 for burglaries in North Yorkshire.

He was released from prison on licence in March this year.

But police say he has breached the licence and he has been recalled to prison following alleged further offending. A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Home Office.  He also failed to comply with bail conditions imposed following his arrest on suspicion of a burglary at a shop in Harrogate on November 26.

Anyone who can help to locate Bennett should call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 1, and pass information to the force control room. Details can also be passed to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.
