The recent Ilkley Homemakers Grand Charity Christmas fair raised £2,800 for The Samaritans.
Eighteen other local charities also took part in the event at the Clarke Foley Centre, Ilkley.
The fair was opened by The Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Bradford, Councillor and Mrs Dale Smith, who were introduced by the Ilkley Town Crier, Chris Richards. The Homemakers were delighted with the support the fair receives from the local community.
The Homemakers are always keen to welcome new members and visitors, and the group meets on the second Thursday of each month at Church House, All Saints Church, Ilkley, and has an interesting programme of speakers and social outings.
