Tickets are still available for a series of writing masterclasses at the Ilkley Literature Festival.

Expert advice on how to write a review, create poetry and compile sports reports are still up for grabs at the festival, which begins later this month.

Festival goers can get advice on reviewing, which includes a free ticket to a Festival event, create a poetry memory box with Seni Seneviratne in the poetry and craft workshop, or receive feedback on your poetry from Mimi Khalvati, Raman Mundair or Patience Agbabi.

There is also the chance to learn how to write about your favourite games and matches with journalist Dave Simpson's Sports Writing Masterclass, at the Rombalds Hotel from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Sunday, September 30.

Alysoun Owen is hosting a How to Get Published masterclass, at the Rombalds Hotel at 11am on the same day.

Poet Sean Hewitt introduces Found Poetry, on Sunday, October 14, at the Manor house, from 2pm.
