Burley and Woodhead CE Primary School has completed a busy summer term, with two school inspections taking place within a week of each other.

Staff and pupils received a full Ofsted inspection and a Church School inspection.

The school was graded as good with excellent relationships between pupils and staff and good attitudes to learning throughout.

As a church school Burley and Woodhead CE was graded outstanding in all areas with high quality relationships throughout the school and exemplary behaviour from pupils.

The school was also praised for an excellent track record as a high-performing school.

Head teacher Julie Speight said: “The whole school team is enormously proud of this school.

"Visitors to the school always remark on the calm atmosphere, the happy children and the warm, caring feel of Burley and Woodhead CE.”
