These young footballers are proudly wearing new kits after receiving sponsorship from a building society.

The team of under-sevens – the Guiseley Whites – have been given a new kit by the Yorkshire Building Society.

Youngsters and their two coaches train at Nethermoor Training Grounds every Wednesday and play competitive matches every weekend.

More than 500 boys and girls play for different teams within Guiseley Juniors, making it the largest junior football club in the UK.

“Guiseley Whites look like they could be a professional team in their new kit,” said Tracey Thackray, who nominated the local football team for sponsorship from Yorkshire Building Society.

“As a member of staff for the Society, I have seen how many charities and good causes the Society supports, and am delighted it has now shown their support for one of my local clubs.”
