Jobs created as Society opens new branches

Fourteen jobs will be created when Yorkshire Building Society opens three new branches in Bingley, Ilkley and Pudsey in the coming weeks.
The openings are the first of 12 planned over the next two years. Pudsey opens on Thursday, May 31, followed by Ilkley on Friday, June 8, and Bingley on Thursday, June 14.
YBS sales and marketing director Ian Bullock said: “The openings are part of our plans to extend our branch network with a further 12 offices over the next two years, taking the total number of Society branches in the Yorkshire region from 43 to 55 by the end of 2013.
“Being a building society is about more than just offering products and service, it's about serving the comm-unities and listening to what matters.
“Investing in our branch network shows how we believe in face-to-face service."
