Ilkley Business Forum will discuss its plans for the future at its May meeting tonight.
The three-year-old forum is to look back on its successes to date as well as hearing of plans and ideas drawn up for future ways of promoting local business.
The meeting will be held at Ilkley Rugby Club, Denton Road, starting 5.45pm.
As well as organising the annual Summer Showcase event, Ilkley Business Forum has run a Shop Local loyalty scheme, is organising this year's Ilkley Shopping Trail and has hosted nearly 50 monthly networking sessions and seminars.
It also works with neighbouring Burley-in-Wharfedale’s chamber of trade to support more than 120 businesses.
Acting chairman, Stephen Butler, recently set up a small group of members to think about what the forum wants to achieve in future, working with prominent business coach Vera Woodhead. He plans to report back to members on ideas so far.
The main speaker tonight will be leading sports coach and marketing expert Dr Des Thwaites, whose topic will be Competitive Advantage.
Dr Thwaites is a senior coach for the British Athletic Federation.
The business forum will also hold its annual general meeting tonight. Free food and drink will be provided by local businesses.
