Ilkley are looking forward to another tough test after returning to winning ways with a 23-19 win at Castleford.

They tackle second-placed Bridlington at Stacks Field on Saturday in what looks like being another examination of their ability to challenge at the top end of Yorkshire Division One.

Coach Rhys Morgan has the experienced back-row duo of Neil Spence and Nathan Bland available again along with second row Kris Stafford and centre Mark Kirkby.

All four missed the win at Castleford but look set to return to the line-up to face a Bridlington side that has lost only once this season and is nine points ahead of fifth-placed Ilkley in the league table.

“We are ready for the challenge,” said coach Morgan. “We played well at Castleford last week and that has given me some pleasant selection problems for a change.

“This is going to be another real test for us just like our last home game with Driffield was.

“This is another opportunity for us to show what we can do.”
