A Menston resident is hoping other people in Wharfedale can shed some light on a ‘supersonic’ unidentified flying object he spotted over Rombalds Moor last week.
The man spotted the fast-moving light to the south east of Moor Lane at around 3am last Wednesday, December 23.
He was unable to judge the size of the object, or determine how far off it was, but believes it could not have been a satellite. As someone with an interest in aircraft, he believes the object would have to have been travelling at more than the speed of sound.
