Power tools and gas flue testing equipment were stolen from vans in Menston over the weekend.
A Dewalt drill and a TESTO flue gas analyser were stolen from a securely locked Transit van parked in a pub car park on Bradford Road on Saturday afternoon.
Police say suspects in a similar van approached the vehicle, broke the door looks and, and stole the equipment from inside, making off in their own vehicle. The theft happened at around 3.30pm.
In a separate incident, power tools were stolen from a vehicle, on Cleasby Road, between 9pm on Friday and 8.20am on Saturday. Police say the thief or thieves popped out the lock on a sliding door of the vehicle to get inside.
