Young bookworms are looking forward to discovering hundreds of new stories, thanks to a grant. Addingham Primary School’s library has been stocked with over 500 new books as part of Bradford Council’s Ward Investment Project Fund.
A school spokesman said: “These books are a very welcome boost to the school’s resources at a time when the school is developing a new and exciting curriculum for the children in school.”
Pictured with some of their new purchases are school council members Amelia Gawtry and Ethan Copping, both aged 11, and nine-year-old Lucy Millington.
