Two men are in hospital following a head-on collision near Pool-in-Wharfedale
POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a a head-on crash near Pool-in-Wharfedale.
The collision involved two vans and happened on the A658 Harrogate Road at Leathley, near the Riffa service station, at about 12.54pm on Monday, September 10.
Two men were taken to Leeds General Infirmary - one via a Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the other by land ambulance - with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Local diversions were put in place while the police investigated the scene, and to allow the vehicles to be recovered.
Witnesses are asked to contact North Yorkshire Police by calling 101 and choosing option 1, to speak to the Force Control Room.
