AN OVERNIGHT closure is to take place on one of the main roads into Pool-in-Wharfedale.
Part of the A658 Pool Bank New Road will close from 10.30pm on Monday, August 6 until 4am on Tuesday, August 7 to allow works connected to an ongoing culvert strengthening scheme.
The work - on a section of the road downhill from the Dyneley Arms junction - has been arranged to take place overnight to minimise disruption, and signs and diversions will be in place.
The road section will reopen again, as a single lane managed by temporary traffic lights, as soon as the work is finished.
The culvert strengthening project began in early May and is expected to be completed by the end of September.
