A CUSHION firm run by an Otley businesswoman has launched a football-inspired challenge for charity.

Sarah Agar-Brennan secured an £80,000 investment for her novelty plush goods business, Love Bomb Cushions, by appearing on Dragons' Den last year.

Now she is teaming up with children's cancer charity Candlelighters to run a Cushion Challenge that's been timed to coincide with the football World Cup.

The initiative involves people producing a video of them performing five 'keepy-ups' in a row using a round cushion, and then posting it on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the label #cushionchallenge.

Love Bomb Cushion has pledged to donate one football styled cushion to Candlelighters for every video that is posted.

Sarah said: "I have first-hand experience of what’s it’s like for a family to be affected by a child of illness, so naturally when I learnt of Candlelighters and their contribution for the children’s cancer patients I had to help.

"We are glad #cushionchallenge is gaining steady awareness from the public - it’s a great time to be involved as World Cup fever kicks in.

"We have even produced a range of football inspired cushions to accompany the campaign."

Candlelighters provide vital support for children suffering from cancer and their families.
