ILKLEY-based drinks venue The Ticket Office has launched a casual dining menu inspired by the flavours of Europe, Asia and India.

The menu, which started on Monday, includes signatures dishes such as oysters and steak frites, sharing boards, sandwiches and seasonal specials including Indian Spiced Lamb and Ginger and Soy Cured Salmon. Many dishes are gluten free and showcase premium ingredients from both regional and local suppliers.

Head chef Paul Murphy has been brought in to develop the menu which complements the bar’s selection of wines, champagnes, cocktails, spirits, cask ales and craft beers. Paul previously worked at leading dining establishments including The Yorke Arms at Ramsgill and The Timble Inn near Otley.

Paul said the menu will provide an opportunity to enjoy flavour-led dishes and premium drinks in stylish surroundings.

Ticket Office General Manager Lawrence Doyle said: “Paul has a passion for globally inspired flavours and our new food menu comprises simple, soulful dishes that are perfect for casual, social dining."

The food launch coincides with the opening of Platform 3, a heated outdoor dining and drinks space which extends the bar’s dining capacity to 40 seats.
