ATHLETICS star Hannah Cockroft MBE is to visit Otley on Yorkshire Day.
The gold-medal winning Paralympian will pop in to The Junction Inn - which will be renamed The Hannah Cockroft in her honour - on Wednesday, August 1.
The Junction, like most pubs in the town, is taking on a Yorkshire celebrity's alias for the day as part of an Otley Pub Club promotional scheme.
The Junction's landlord, Tony Grey, will also present champion wheelchair racer Hannah with a cheque for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal - she is a patron of the charity - when she visits.
Before that the pub will be busy fundraising during this year's Tour de Yorkshire, which comes through Otley on Friday, May 4 and Sunday, May 6.
It will be generating money for the Yorkshire Air ambulance by holding raffles, barbecues, live music and collections throughout the tour's duration.
Mr Grey is also hoping to put on a cooperage display so visitors can learn about the art of barrel and cask making.
