ONE HUNDRED mums give their advice on pregnancy and parenthood in a new book published by an Ilkley woman.

Advice from 100 mums to 1 aims to answer some of the questions facing first time parents - giving honest advice from real women who have recently been through pregnancy and the first few months of parenthood themselves,

The book’s author Beverly Bexton says it is packed with top tips to help new mums.

She had her own personal reasons for wanting to write the book, after finding out first hand that while expecting a child is an exciting time it can also give rise to a whole host of questions. She believes it can be difficult to know where to turn to for advice when answers are rarely straight-forward.

She said: “As soon as I became pregnant with my first child I had so many questions but was the first to become pregnant from my friendship group. Often the questions were not really appropriate for my midwife and many of the ‘baby’ books on the market provided just one view point.’’

To solve the problem, Beverley surveyed 100 new parents and asked them for their advice on the key issues, from morning sickness to weaning, summarising their answers in one easy to read book.

The ebook can be purchased form amazon.co.uk for £2.99 and downloaded on to any PC or mobile device including laptop, mobile and e-reader.
