AFTER the success of last year’s Ilkley Beer Festival special ale, Ilkley Brewery and Wharfedale Brewery are working together once more to produce the unique XPA which combines solid Yorkshire backbone with plenty of hoppy goodness.
The XPA was a huge success at last year’s Festival and the two breweries felt it only made sense to bring it back for the annual event.
Money from every pint sold will go towards the Ilkley and District Round Table charity fund which supports local good causes.
Nick Winterbottom, this year’s beer festival organiser, said: “We are delighted to have the special XPA available at the Ilkley Brewery bar and the Wharfedale Brewery bar. It was possibly the most popular beer at last year’s festival and we fully expect it will draw the crowds again!”
Tickets for this year’s Ilkley Beer Festival, taking place at The King’s Hall, Ilkley, tomorrow and Saturday, February 9 and 10, are nearly sold out with only a handful of tickets left remaining for the Friday evening session. Tickets can be purchased online or from The Wheatley and The Flying Duck pubs in Ilkley.
