THE next Menston Arts Club Exhibition is on November 18 and 19 at the Kirklands Community Centre on Main Street, Menston, from 10.30am to 5pm (4.30pm on Sunday).

Everyone is welcome and entry is free, although there will be an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets with some wonderful prizes to be won. Lots of excellent paintings will be on display and for sale, all produced by local artists and members of Menston Arts Club. All visitors will be encouraged to chose their favourite painting and the winning artist will win a prize.

All members of Menston Arts Club can exhibit up to three pictures of a very high standard to the exhibition, some also display portfolios of up to 12 paintings of a similar standard but being unframed they are often of a lower price but are still ready to be framed by the purchaser to suit their own style and decor.

Many of the items visible in the photograph were produced by Lisa, others by other members of Menston Arts Club. Lisa is a highly experienced member of Menston Arts Club and will unfortunately miss the exhibition as she will be demonstrating pyrography in Ireland over the weekend. Sue Brearley who runs the craft stall with other members who contribute excellent items to the craft stall will be available to help anyone wishing to purchase items or just ask how they were made.

Visitors can also enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or squash with homemade cake or biscuits, there will also be light lunches available and a cake stall selling homemade cakes, although if you do wish to purchase one it is worth noting that they do sell very quickly!
