AFTER two successful years at the Seafood Pub Company’s sites in Lancashire, Seafood Week is sailing into Addingham for the first time this October.

Running from October 6 to 13, Seafood Week will bring the best of coastal produce to life through special menus at The Fleece in Addingham, as well as a very special Champagne Dinner.

Tying in with National Seafood Week, which encourages people to eat fish more often, the Seafood Pub Company will be showcasing the very best seafood produce.

Jemma McAnespie, marketing manager of the group said: “Seafood Week has been a huge success at our Lancashire sites in the past two years and we are really excited about bringing the fun and fantastic menus to Yorkshire. It is a fantastic opportunity for us to host some exciting events and create a fabulous array of exciting seafood dishes, giving customers the chance to try something a little different.

“The black-tie Champagne Dinner on 13th October has already generated a lot of interest with customers, so we are encouraging people to buy their tickets quickly so that they don’t miss out on the incredible four course menu and the Jacquart champagnes each course has been paired with.”

In addition to the Champagne Dinner, the venue will be serving Fruits de Mer on October 7, followed by mussels and cider on the 8th. Throughout the week, three oysters and a glass of prosecco will be offered for £10.

“The menus we have created for Seafood Week are perfect for anyone wishing to try seafood and experience a combination of innovative, exciting flavours,” added Antony Shirley, the group’s executive chef.

“We want customers to relax, enjoy the fantastic food and drink on offer, but also leave feeling a little more educated about the benefits of incorporating seafood into their diet.”
