SHOPPERS in Otley were left shocked after a car crashed into a charity store.
The incident happened on Kirkgate at just after 10.30am on Thursday, September 7 when a silver Volkswagen Golf collided with at least one other car and then the British Heart Foundation shop.
Emergency services attended and the driver was checked by an ambulance crew but no-one was seriously injured.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "The call came in at 10.34am.
"We sent a Rapid Response vehicle and an ambulance, but no-one required hospital treatment."
Otley British Heart Foundation store manager Mandy Thackray, speaking just after the accident, said: "We were just upstairs when we heard two loud bangs, and came down to see a car in the shop window.
"All of the window was smashed, along with the framework and brickwork, but everyone was okay.
"We are all alright, just a bit shaken up by it."
