SCHOOLS across the district will learn next month how much cash they will receive under Government changes to funding.
MP Philip Davies was given the assurance after demanding a timescale.
He said schools, parents and governors were anxious to know what they would be getting following months of uncertainty.
Speaking in the Commons, Mr Davies – whose Shipley constituency includes Burley and Menston – said: "At the end of the day what really matters to the schools is the budget that they are going to receive.
"When will they actually be communicated with and be told exactly what this will mean for each individual school budget?
"And can the Education Secretary confirm that the promise not to cut funding from any school also applies to special schools as well as mainstream?"
He said the Secretary of State, Justine Greening, had promised higher minimum per pupil funding.
She responded: "We will confirm what the allocation is notionally to each school in September.
"That is a significant process."
