THE COURTHOUSE choir has held its eight fundraising show for the Chameleon Charity.
The group sang at Otley Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 25 when the theme was African Songs.
The Chameleon Charity was set up by choir member Doreen Hodgson and supports the the First Step Right School in Natal, South Africa.
Slides and videos of children at the school were shown during the choir's performance and the evening was rounded off with coffee and homemade cakes.
The group has raised nearly £5,000 in total for the charity, with the £500 from this year's concert being used to buy books and equipment for the school's new library.
Led by Dave Stewart, the Courthouse Choir meets at Otley Courthouse from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Tuesdays during school term-times, and welcomes new members.
