A SKIPTON based craft group has donated money raised from refreshments to Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice.
The Skipton U3A Multi Media group meets once a week to work on various craft projects at the town's Oddfellows House.
And over the last few weeks they have been donating the money for refreshments to the hospice.
The group recently invited Manorlands fundraiser Karen Jones, to a class night and to collect a cheque for £271.64.
"We are really grateful to the Skipton U3A Multi Media group for their contribution," said Karen. "It was lovely to meet the group and I was able to see all the different arts and crafts the group produce, some very talented people. I was also able to try the delicious chocolate cake."
The money will go towards helping to provide in care for people in Craven.
