GOLFERS have charity fundraising off to a tee.

Members of Bradford and District Ladies Golf Association staged an annual golf day in aid of Manorlands.

Nearly 90 competitors, representing the ladies' sections of 16 clubs across the Bradford area, took part.

And the event, at Baildon Golf Club, coined-in £1,350.

Harriet Wood, a fundraiser at the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, pays tribute.

She said: "We are so fortunate to receive such wonderful support from the golfing community and the Bradford & District Ladies Golf Association is no exception, having supported our work for over ten years.

"With the donations we receive, we're able to provide the peace of mind a family needs through the care and support we give to their loved ones.

"We would like say a very big thank-you to the ladies who took part in the charity golf day and for understanding and appreciating our vital need for these donations."
