ENTRANTS in Keighley’s BigK 10K will be presented with a special tenth-anniversary technical T-shirt.
Manorlands fundraiser Hayley Ibbotson is pictured wearing the shirt to promote Sunday’s run and walk.
“It’s the best T-shirt we’ve ever had and has to be worth the entry fee alone!” said Andrew Wood, Manorlands’ Keighley fundraiser and the event lead.
Organisers have issued an eleventh-hour plea for people to support the extravaganza, which since its launch has attracted nearly 10,000 participants and raised almost £300,000 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice. The 10K starts at Victoria Park and follows a multi-terrain route. It begins at 9am, but people are asked to arrive by 8.20am to register and collect their timing chip.
