WALKERS enjoying a ramble in the Laycock area next month are being urged to take a litter-picker!
Bradford Council neighbourhoods staff are staging a 'walking litter-pick' and drop-in, based at Laycock Village Hall, on Saturday, April 8.
They and ward councillors will be at the hall – between 10.30am and noon – to distribute litter-pickers, gloves, bags and high-visibility vests.
Residents will also be able to discuss other neighbourhood issues at the event.
"This is a chance for anyone concerned about litter on footpaths to help clear it up before the growing season gets going," said ward officer, Liz Parker.
Anyone interested in taking part is invited to suggest paths that need attention.
