ROLLER skating and car boots sales are among the events planned at Ilkley Grammar School this year.

Fundraising roller skating will take place in the sports hall for years six, seven and eight on Saturday, May 6. Tickets cost £5 per skater ( including skate hire) and proceeds will go to school funds.

The first session, starting at 2pm, is for students in year six and their families. All skaters must be eight or over. The second session starts at 3pm and is for years seven and eight. Participants cannot use their own skates. Tickets for the first session can be bought from IGS reception or Toast on Leeds Road in Ilkley, or via parentpay for those students in years seven and eight. Drinks, snacks and protective equipment will be available.

All children at the first session must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Unaccompanied children in session two will need to give an emergency telephone number for an adult.
