RICHARD III - Hero or Villain will be the subject of a talk in Rawdon this month.
Local historian and author Helen Cox will bring history to life in the presentation which is part of a series of talks at two-monthly intervals organised by Aireborough Civic Society.
The lecture will be given at the society's meeting in Rawdon Community Library at 7.30pm on Thursday, March 30.
Dr David Ingham from the society said: "Helen Cox is a local medieval historian and author who specialises in that period of history and her presentations are given with a humorous twist. She can also be persuaded to present in authentic copies of medieval costume.
"The next two ACS presentations will occur in May and July, details of these will follow in due course. All the talks are free to members of the public but donations will be welcomed."
