REFURBISHMENT work is nearing completion at an Addingham pub that was set ablaze in 2015.
The Fleece Inn, on Main Street, was gutted by an arson attack carried out by a former barman which caused £750,000 of damage.
Addingham resident Leigh Meeks was found guilty of deliberately starting the fire - in the early hours of September 23, 2015 - and jailed for six years and eight months.
The pub has remained closed since although for some time now has had scaffolding up around it to allow repairs and refurbishment work.
The scaffolding has now been removed and the refurbishment is believed to be virtually complete, with an announcement about the inn's reopening expected within weeks.
The Fleece and the Craven Heifer, also on Main Street, are both run by the Well Fed Pub Company.
Mr Meeks had been taken on as a barman at the Craven Heifer but lost his job over suspicions about missing money.
Bradford Crown Court heard in November, 2015 that he had started the fire at The Fleece, which began at about 4am, by using lighter fuel in a storeroom.
The blaze spread quickly and smoke from it trapped chefs Philip Latham and Ethan Mitchell in the upstairs living quarters of the Listed building.
They had to be rescued by firefighters using ladders.
