A CAT rescue organisation is urgently appealing to anyone who can rehome a cat following the tragic death of an Ilkley woman.

Lisa Thompson, died aged 55 on November 23 and her nine, much loved cats now need rehoming urgently. Lisa's daughter Vikkie Horry is a long standing supporter of the Bingley-based The Crazy Cats Ladies Rescue, who are now searching for new homes for the cats before Lisa's home is taken back by Bradford Council.

Details of all the cats which need homes can be found on the Facebook page The Crazy Cat Ladies Rescue or contact Linda Dufton on 07804772273. Linda said: "We also have other lovely cats needing homes for anyone looking. We do charge an adoption fee of £65 but that includes a vet check, flea and worm, neutering vaccinations and microchipping. We aren't charging an adoption fee for Vikkie's mums cats because she has already had them neutered and chipped but if anyone would like to make a donation towards them that would be great."
