THE LATEST stage of Otley's Garnett Wharfe development will be showcased this weekend.
Homebuyers will be able to visit a new show apartment for a freshly completed set of 36 luxury apartments on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11.
The homes - 34 of which are two-bedroom, with two, one bedroom penthouse suites also available- are part of a 237 riverside scheme David Wilson Homes has been working on since 2014.
Homebuyers will be shown around the executive, two-bedroom show home - which looks out onto the River Wharfe and has a wraparound balcony - over the launch weekend.
Sales Manager at Garnett Wharfe, Dan Hardcastle, said: "Set in a fantastic, idyllic location along the river bank this is truly one of our most popular developments, which is no surprise.
"I’m sure our new executive apartments will be snapped up very quickly as they launch with our stunning show apartment.
"We’ve striven to ensure that Garnett Wharfe encapsulates the market town of Otley, and with investment in the like of our hydroelectric works at the development, we’re doing everything we can to give back to the local community."
Based on the former Garnett paper mill site, the completed development will also have offices, a visitor centre and an Italian restaurant - with Otley business Buon Apps set to open a second outlet there.
Staff from Buon Apps will be present at this weekend's launch where they will be offering visitors dishes of antipasti along with a glass of Prosecco.
A hydroelectric facility, using a turbine fitted to Otley Weir, is also currently being created at the site.
Other environmental works that have been carried out at Garnett Wharfe include the creation of a fish pass, bat chamber and otter holt.
