EDINBURGH Woollen Mill, Ilkley will be the venue for a Guide Dogs awareness and fundraising day on Saturday, October 8 from 10am to 3pm..
Andrew Barton a member of the Ilkley and District Guide Dogs Fundraising Group said “We are very grateful to Edinburgh Woollen Mill for inviting us back this year during Guide Dog week. We had a very successful day last year and I hope that we will do as well this year. We will have some guide dog owners and their dogs on hand to tell you all about how these fantastic dogs make a difference to their lives”.
As well as being able to find out all about the work that Guide Dogs does for people with sight loss there will be a Tombola and a stall selling Guide Dog merchandise. Anyone donating to the charity on the day will be eligible for a ten per cent discount on all clothing in the store at the Moors Shopping Centre, Ilkley.
