BIFFY Clyro, Six Finger Death Punch and Rationale are among bands playing the Leeds Festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Biffy Clyro last month unveiled new single Animal Style and album Ellipsis.
Critics have branded the band’s new sound as more assured, far-out, venomous, and ideal for festival headline slots.
The new album is said to rewire the fiery melodic streak and innate aggression of previous Biffy songs while adding leftfield creative ideas and unconventional production embellishments.
Heavy rock group Five Finger Death Punch are building on the success of last year’s album Got Your Six and single Jekyll And Hyde.
Singer Ivan Moody said of the single: “There are multiple personalities to every human being, and no matter how civilized and sophisticated you think you are, if you dare to look at yourself very, very closely, you’ll see… somewhere deep down… there is a demon inside.
Rationale will perform songs like single Something For Nothing which boasted the singer’s tender and emotive baritone in the context of a classic soul-infused arrangement.
Rationale earned Radio One airplay and millions of Spotify plays with the EP Fuel To The Fire and single Fast Lane.
