FOXES Faux will take to another outdoor stage this weekend to follow their success at this month’s Fresh Aire.

Keighley’s favourite folk-punk-rock group was recently among headliners at the open-air festival in the town’s Cliffe Castle Park.

On Saturday, August 27 they will again be near the top of the bill, during the first Pinnacle Rocks festival.

The afternoon/evening show will be at Sutton Pinnacle and will feature 10 acts playing in aid of the Manorlands hospice in Oxenhope.

The headliners are popular Silsden band The Escapades and the line-up also includes accordion player Thom Hardaker, solo artist Liam Jarvis, and bands Suburban Symphony, Record Street, The Switch Losing Touch and Inner Frenzy.

Foxes Faux were formed in Keighley, where they played their first gig at Victoria Hall in January 2009.

They started out by busking, and later on when playing amplified gigs became known for performing acoustic sets afterwards.

According to Wikipedia, Foxes Faux independently released their debut self-titled EP in2012 and followed it up last year with the 13-track Fox Tales through Drawing Board Records and Bomber Music.

The music received rave reviews in a mixture of folk, rock, punk and country publications, prompting the decision to record another album this year.

Pinnacle Rocks runs from 1pm into the late evening. There will be a large beer tent and catering vans.

Tickets are available from ticketsource.co.uk or the Kings Arms and Black Bull in Sutton, Snooty Fox in Oakworth, Goats Head in Steeton, Turkey Inn in Goose Eye, Bay Horse in Cowling and Old White Bear in Cross Hills.
