AN AIRLINE based at Leeds Bradford Airport has been ranked 'best in the UK' by TripAdvisor.
The travel review website recently launched a new airlines review service, and Jet2.com came out as number one in this country and tenth best in the world.
It is the only British airline to make the list, which is based on feedback from passengers from 48 countries and covered every major carrier.
Jet2.com scored particularly well for customer service, cleanliness, value for money, check-in, boarding and its 22kg baggage allowance.
Chief executive officer of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, said: "There is no better tribute than the feedback of passengers, so for Jet2.com to be ranked as the best UK airline based on their reviews is an outstanding achievement – and one we are very proud of.
"It is also testament to the brilliant work our employees do every single day.”
The top 16 airlines in the world all received an average rating of 4.5 stars on TripAdvisor and were then ranked based on the highest percentage of five-star reviews, with Emirates coming out top.
