A 29-YEAR-OLD man, who told police he was a “spoiled brat,” has been jailed for harassing his mother and damaging her property.
Leon Clarke pleaded guilty, at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on Monday, to destroying a mirror, worth £20, and belonging to Vanessa Hargreaves, at Ilkley on July 24.
He also admitted harassing her by breaching a restraining order made last December.
Prosecutor, Suzanne Paige, said Clarke went to his mother’s address and fell through the door.
He refused to leave and went to the bathroom, where he smashed the mirror.
The police were called and he was arrested. The court was told Clarke was under the influence of alcohol.
Clarke, formerly of Aireville Terrace, Burley-in-Wharfedale, but who gave a Silsden address to the court, was jailed for eight weeks.
