AN OTLEY school's fundraising family fun day has been praised by its local MP.
St Joseph's Catholic Primary held a variety of games and stalls at the event, along with a barbecue, cake stall, bar and 'mocktail' bar.
Jointly organised by the school and the Angels for Children Foundation, the day raised money for playground equipment and to help disadvantaged children in the Philippines.
MP Greg Mulholland (Lib Dem, Leeds North West) said: "St Joseph's family fun day was a great event and well attended, with plenty of families coming to enjoy the stalls and attractions.
"Congratulations to all of the organisers and volunteers who worked hard to make sure the day was a great success for a great cause. Everyone clearly enjoyed themselves!"
