THE SITE manager of a new independent living complex in Otley has won a top housebuilding award.
Simon Pallent has been awarded the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award 2016 for the North East region.
Mr Pallent is the site manager for luxury independent living provider Adlington's 48-home, multi-million pound riverside development in Otley.
He said: "I am pleased all of the work at our Otley project has been acknowledged by the NHBC and I could not be happier."
Mr Pallent will now go on to the second stage of the NHBC competition to compete for the Seal of Excellence awards, where 130 of the stage one winners will be picked and announced in September.
