LEEDS Rhinos captain Danny McGuire and Pudsey MP Stuart Andrew joined forces to officially open a new Guiseley bar and restaurant.

A host of celebrities were also present at the celebrations at Everybodys All Day Social which began trading earlier this year.

As well as members of the local community, the guest list included former Middlesbrough and Leeds United player and current ITV pundit, John Hendry, and former Wigan Athletic manager and BBC pundit, Paul Jewell, as well as Emmerdale stars Danny Miller, Kelvin Fletcher, Ryan Hawley, Bhasker Patel and James Hooton.

Leeds-based acoustic duo, Strobe, provided the entertainment for the event and guests were treated to welcome drinks and a selection of small plates from the menu and canapes.

Paul Glendinning, CEO of Guiseley-based insurance broking group JM Glendinning, and Ilkley-born Adam Lewis, director of Twisted Bars Ltd, took over the lease on the former Cellar V premises in the Morrisons complex in December 2015.

Adam Lewis says: "We’ve had such a warm welcome to the town already and feedback so far has been very positive and backed up our understanding that Guiseley was ready for a bar and eatery of this kind. We pride ourselves on providing good quality locally sourced food and entertainment for everyone from families, couples, those wanting a working lunch and those heading out for the evening to relax and socialise."
