BOOTS and bicycles were blessed at a special church service in the Washburn Valley last weekend.
Cyclists and walkers headed for Norwood Methodist Chapel, near Lindley Wood Reservoir, for the event on Sunday, May 22.
Two Ministers, Reverend Rick Ormrod and Reverend Lesley Taylor, oversaw the blessings and held a service celebrating the local countryside at the afternoon ceremony.
The visitors, including some members of Ilkley Cycle Club, enjoyed tea and cakes afterwards.
