A MULTI-AWARD winning communications firm from Otley is in line to add six more trophies to its haul.

Words&Pictures has been nominated in six categories at the Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC) Central and North regional awards.

The company, now in its 25th year – and winners of nearly 150 awards during a 15-year period – will find out how it has fared at the Leicester Marriott hotel on February 26.

Among the sections it is competing in are Best Multi-Channel Communication and Best Website/Intranet for Innovative Communications, with Direct Line Group.

The business, a group of three communication firms, is also aiming to win both Best (internal) Magazine for Mercedes-Benz One publication and Best Newspaper, for UK Power Networks’ The Cable.

Words&Pictures' founder and chairman, Tony Layton, said he is delighted to be in the running for yet more accolades.

He added: "Once again, however, these nominations are a genuine testament to our company’s outstandingly talented people."

The firm has also been nominated for the Best Imagery category for Carlsberg's Cheers magazine, thanks to the work of head of photography Alan Barton, and the Agency Team of the Year award.

Based at the Wharfebank Business Centre in Otley, Words&Pictures' clients also include easyJet and Honda.
