A NEW breakfast club for Otley schoolchildren has received a boost thanks to a local supermarket.
The town's Sainsbury's store has donated a microwave, food blender and breakfast cereals to the Otley All Saints C of E Primary scheme.
Two pupils – in full fancy dress for Children in Need – from the school recently visited the shop, accompanied by deputy headteacher, Phil Robertson, to receive the gifts.
Mr Robertson said: "The club gives working parents an opportunity to drop off their children earlier, and gives the children a good start to the day."
