STUDENTS at Guiseley School have enjoyed success in their GCSEs - with the vast majority achieving five or more passes at A* to C.

Every student in year 11 has left school with a qualification, and the school has described the results as "pleasing."

Headteacher Paul Morrissey said: "Our young people have once more worked incredibly hard to achieve success in a challenging examination landscape. Students, teachers, parents /carers and governors have continued to work together to create a climate in which students can succeed. The school is very proud of some outstanding individual performances with results that are a real credit to our community. We look forward to seeing what these young people achieve as they move on with confidence into the next phase of their careers, many choosing to stay on in our own sixth form. We wish all of our students well."
