‘THRIVE Yorkshire’ Business Growth Conference is back with award-winning business woman, Kate Hardcastle, heading the line-up of Yorkshire based speakers.

The conference, at The Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley, in September, will be offering practical strategies, tools and tips to help businesses in the region not only grow, but thrive.

Ilkley Business Forum is subsidising the event and forum treasurer Julia Forrester, said it would be a full day of learning. “We want business owners to come away feeling inspired and equipped to grow their business," she said.

This year the six Yorkshire based speakers will share their amazing business growth stories, with ideas taken from their own business successes to inspire delegates. Keynote speaker, Kate Hardcastle, who owns and runs ‘Insight With Passion’ will be sharing with delegates ‘How to put the #OOMPH in your business’. Kate said: “I am looking forward to supporting this Yorkshire event and helping local businesses to Thrive. Yorkshire is a big element of what we do and we try and support local SME’s and events, wherever possible.”

Other speakers include Positive Impact Coach, Deborah Ogden who will be talking about ‘Personal Branding’. Deborah has worked with ‘Educating Yorkshire’ star Michael Steer.

Also speaking is Managing Partner of Blacks Solicitors, Chris Allen. Chris will be showing delegates ‘How a small business can use social media to its advantage’. The conference will be opened by local entrepreneur and successful business man Chris Ives, Director of Ilkley Brewery.

This year the conference will also include ‘mini surgeries’ that will take place at exhibitor stands, giving a further chance for exhibitors to share their own strategies, tools and tips to help delegates grow their businesses.

Liz Scott, committee member and main organiser of the event said: “We were really keen to build on the great feedback we received last year and make the second conference even bigger and better. We have introduced some new ideas such as the ‘mini surgeries’ and cut back on the number of speakers and kept it all about high quality, successful, Yorkshire based business men and women.”

The conference is being held on September 24 at The Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley. Delegate prices are £10 for IBF members and £20 for none IBF members (including lunch and refreshments).

Exhibition stands are £95 early bird price, if booked before the end of July and £125 thereafter. IBF members are £75 Early Bird and £95 thereafter.
