PUPILS from Moorfield School are taking on a community project with Outside the Box Cafe in Ilkley.

Senior 5 pupils from the independent prep school in Ben Rhydding Road, Ilkley, had the opportunity to visit the café and meet some of their members, and to learn more about the registered charity that supports people who have learning disabilities to lead more fulfilled lives.

The children were taught some unique pop art by some of their members. So to raise money for this community project, Senior 5 and their teacher, Michelle Van Eede, ran 5km around the Riverside Park in Ilkley dressed as Minions on Saturday, and even collected some money on the way.

The school has currently raised £685 but hopes to reach a target of £1,000. Visit https://www.justgiving.com/Michelle-van-Eede/ to donate.

All money raised by the school will be presented to Outside the Box on Monday.
