A SERIES of fundraising days have been lined up in Otley to support St John Ambulance.
Honorary Citizen Lesley Noble, who runs her Reaching Out bereavement support group from the town's St John Ambulance hall, has organised the Saturday morning events as a token of thanks.
All four days will be free to enter and feature coffee and tea, stalls, a raffle and a tombola.
They will will run at the Gay Lane venue from 9am to 1pm with the first taking place this Saturday, June 13, and the others following on June 27, July 11, and July 25.
The final event will be followed, from 1pm, by a 'wartime tea afternoon' featuring an appearance by Charlie Chuck, of The Smell Of Reeves and Mortimer fame.
The surreal comedian is Mrs Noble's brother.
The July 25 afternoon will include an old-time music singalong, corned beef sandwiches and more, and costs £5 per person.
Proceeds will go to St John Ambulance, who are also sending a representative to each of the fundraisers to promote their work and encourage people to get involved.
